Need a furry friend for the day? Our Doggy Dates program gives volunteers the chance to take one of our shelter dogs on an adventure outside the shelter. Whether it's a walk in the park, a pup cup, a hike, a car ride, or simply relaxing at home, every outing provides valuable enrichment, socialization, and a much-needed break from kennel life.
Your Doggy Date also helps us learn more about each dog's personality, preferences, and behavior outside the shelter, making it easier to find the perfect forever home.

Pup Cups

Treat a shelter dog to a special outing with a Pup Cup Date! Volunteers can take a dog to a local coffee shop or ice cream stand for a dog-friendly pup cup, giving them a fun change of scenery, one-on-one attention, and a tasty treat. These short outings provide valuable enrichment, help build confidence, and allow us to see how each dog behaves in public settings. It's a simple way to brighten a shelter dog's day—and maybe even help them find their forever home.
Hiking or Strolling

These outings provide exercise, mental stimulation, and one-on-one attention while helping us learn more about each dog's personality, leash manners, confidence, and behavior in new environments. Relaxing at Home
